At 16 Acres, we offer programs for people of all ages! The youth program is for children that love horses and have a desire to be with them. Each level is designed around the knowledge of the rider.

Youth Camp – 5 Days of Horse’n Around! – Have fun with horses!

9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Ages: 8 to 18
Bring: Long pants and hard sole boots or shoes (no open toes or heels; no tennis shoes) and a lunch and drinks. Snacks will be provided. Helmets will be provided.
You learn: Grooming, Riding Skills, Saddling, Safety, Feeding and Care of the horse
Fees: $400 per student/week with a $100.00 registration fee included in cost. Fees must be received 1 week prior to camp in order to secure a spot in the camp.

Tiny Tot Camp – 5 Days of Horse’n Around! – Have fun with horses!

9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon

Ages: 3 to 7
Bring: Long pants and hard sole boots or shoes (no open toes or heels; no tennis shoes). Drinks and snacks will be provided. Helmets will be provided.
You learn: Grooming, Riding Skills, Saddling, Safety, Feeding and Care of the horse
Fees: $300 per student/week with a $50.00 registration fee included in cost. Fees must be received 1 week prior to camp in order to secure a spot in the camp.

 

 

All levels include natural horsemanship.  Each program teaches basic skills needed to advance to higher levels such as our Show Team for both English and Western riders.
