With Jody Halladay

Whether you are a beginner or advanced rider, consider working my Pathways to advance your skills in groundwork and in the saddle. Unity between you and your horse is the ultimate result!I will flex to your needs and preferences, offering private and group lessons of riders at the same pathway level. All sessions are personalized to assure your advancement, always taking the time it takes to bring value to each session. Every session builds upon the previous learning so that you and your horse will advance quickly in your relationship and skills.

If you don’t own a horse, I have well-trained, happy lesson horses that will help you achieve what you yearn for………to communicate with horses in their natural, silent language – Through the Eye of the Horse!

Pathway: Groundwork and Confidence Building

These sessions are designed to build your confidence and advance your ground skills – the best foundation and preparation for riding. You will walk away with a better understanding of the horse, their language, and how to communicate with them before you get in the saddle. A great groundwork relationship leads to great and wonderful rides.

All sessions address the basic natural horsemanship groundwork skills and “games” that you’ll need to know to be accomplished in communicating with your horse on the ground and in dealing with any handling or behavioral issues. You can advance into working with your horse at liberty, too.

These sessions can be personalized to whatever issues you may be having with your horse. Private or group sessions – give me a call to discuss your needs.

Pathway: Ride With Confidence and Unity

These sessions are designed to build your confidence and advance your riding skills. This is where your time spent in groundwork and building a relationship with your horse pays off! We’ll start at the basics, learning how everything you’ve done in groundwork transfers to everything done in the saddle. You’ll learn ways to get and keep a solid, balanced, independent seat and leg which can be transferred to all disciplines of riding. You’ll also learn the whys and how the horse reacts to your seat and legs, and when and how to really use reins, with Unity.

These sessions can be personalized to whatever issues you may be having in your riding or what you’d like to learn. Private or group sessions – give me a call to discuss your needs.
